Don’t be Shy lovely wedding suppliers - Tell your story
I see YOU wedding planners, wedding dress designers, celebrants, florists, hairdressers, cake makers, artisans, wedding stationery designers and more.
Don’t hide behind the camera. The bride doesn’t want to only see photos of other brides looking gorgeous, tasty cakes, beautiful hair or pretty bouquets. Show yourself.
Lesson 5: Take Time For Yourself
STOP. You aren’t a machine. You shouldn’t be running yourself ragged. Your mind, body and of course your clients won’t thank you for it. BREATHE.
Lesson 4: Value What You Do
This has been a big learning curve over the last few years. As the business has evolved and I have explored a few career paths, I now know what my passion is, helping like-minded small businesses to discover their magic, giving them the tools, confidence and vision to do what they love and be authentic to themselves.
Lesson 3: Be Yourself – Don’t be pressured
With the world of social media, you feel you have to be out there, doing lives all the time, shouting about your services, fast paced, making the 6 figure sales. But what about those of us, that can’t do that. I think it is more important to be ourselves, being confident more each day in our own way.
Lesson 2: Have Clarity on who you are and what you do
Hello Melody Branding has a warm soulful feel, I like to describe it as giving you a big hug sitting in front of a warm fire, reassuring my clients it’s ok to be their authentic selves.
Lesson 1: Let your business evolve
This may sound strange, but it really is important. Being self-employed, you must learn how to run a business right from the start, there isn’t a manual on how everyone should do it. We grow through our experiences dealing with customers, learn new skills, get to know when things aren’t right and need to change. It makes us stronger and able to get focused on what is important to us and our business.

When you need to position yourself as the expert
Branding isn't all about the product or service you provide, it is about you as well. Why you are different? What message you are trying to tell your ideal clients?
Value Yourself
You are special, unique, one off.
Using your skills and passions, you can be the best version of yourself. I trust you can do it.
Confidence Boost - The Power of Rebranding
Well, you aren’t alone my lovelies. We have an inner confidence waiting to get out. We may not be making lots of noise, but YES we can do this. We can show ourselves. We are unique and our clients are waiting to hear our voice.
From Hobby to Small Business – Amazing what a year can do
I’ve recently had the pleasure in working with the lovely Justine from Coven, a small artisan cook, based in Bozeat, Northamptonshire. I wanted to share with you her journey and how branding strategy, identity and beautiful photography can really make a difference to an Artisan business.
